Social-Distancing E-Scooter: Gemopai Miso Launched In India

Nearly a month ago Gemopai Electric, the Indian e scooter manufacturer, had teased the impending launch of what it describes as “India’s first social distancing scooter”. And ladies and gentlemen, the scooter is here: Gemopai Miso e scooter has been launched in India at ₹44,000. (ex-showroom). The company added that it is now also accepting bookings for the Miso electric scooter in India for ₹2,000. It added the scooter is also available for bookings online and that its deliveries will begin next month.

With the current ongoing safety concerns because of the pandemic, Miso’s single seat helps choose an affordable and safe ride.”

The made in India Gemopai Miso is almost entirely manufactured locally, save for the battery. The company clarified the battery cells are currently imported. But moving on — the new Gemopai Miso is available in two variants: One with a luggage carrier that can hold up to 120 kg of load. The second variant is offered without the aforementioned luggage carrier. The new e scooter in India comes fitted with a Hexa headlight to help users navigate without an issue even in low light conditions and a LED battery indicator for the Miso’s 48V, 1 kW detachable li-ion battery.

Gemopai Miso can be charged up to 90 per cent in two hours and claims to deliver a riding range of up to 75 km per single charge. Oh and it is capable of reaching a maximum speed of 25 km/h, which means you don’t need a driving licence to ride the Gemopai Miso electric scooter.

The electric two-wheeler manufacturer added that the Miso is available with a choice between four colors, i.e. Fiery Red, Deep Sky Blue, Luscious Green, and Sunset Orange. In addition to that Gemopai is also offering a three-year free service package with the Miso social distancing e scooter in India.
