Gujarat based electric two wheeler manufacturer Aarya Automobiles is coming up with its electric cruiser motorcycle, the Commander in the Indian Market. Expected to launch in December 2022, the company states that the Aarya Commander electric bike will carry a reasonable price with modern features.
Aarya has released a teaser image of the upcoming electric motorcycle, depicting that it will feature a circular headlamp, a teardrop shaped fuel tank and double seat. According to the official release, the Aarya Commander will be powered by a 4.4kWh Lithium-ion battery and a 3000W 72V motor. The battery can be fully charged within 4-5 hours, states a media release.
The upcoming electric cruiser motorcycle will be offered in 8 color options in the Indian market, says the company.
”Aarya has the vision to make EV bikes for people of all ages & groups and develop affordable yet quality EV infrastructure across India, and with Commander as a stepping stone we hope to reach our goal at the earliest,” says Tushar Chhabhaya, Director of Aarya Automobiles.
Further, he added, ”We also urge EV manufacturers to adhere to government guidelines while manufacturing or selling electric vehicles or their components.”
As part of the Aarya Group of Companies, Aarya Automobile supports the Make in India campaign by manufacturing and assembling their vehicles and equipment in India instead of importing them. The company aims to make India self-reliant on EV bikes and working closely with all its service partners to cater all the customers.
