EV leasing platform Drivn on Tuesday said it will lease 200 electric trucks from emobility-as-a-service platform BillionE Mobility for deployment under a strategic partnership.
Under this partnership, 22 electric trucks will be deployed for a cement industry offtaker backed by a long-term contract. The deployment will establish an electrified freight corridor supported by dedicated charging infrastructure and operational solutions, it said.
“Electric trucks scale only when the right ecosystem is in place. Through our partnership with BillionE Mobility, we are focused on ensuring high vehicle uptime, operational consistency, and efficiency across every trip,” said Alpna Jain, Co-founder and Chief Business Officer, Drivn.
This deployment demonstrates that EV freight is not just about replacing diesel trucks, but about building a logistics model that delivers both environmental and operational benefits, she added.
Through the deployments, the partners aim to accelerate the adoption of electric freight solutions and support more efficient long-haul transportation, the company said.
“By partnering with Drivn, we are combining technology, operations, and financing to remove key barriers to EV adoption. Together, we look forward to helping customers transition to cleaner, more efficient logistics,” said Kartikey Hariyani, Founder, & Sanjeev Kulkarni, CEO, BillionE Mobility.
