Bengaluru, September 28th, 2026: Oben Electric, India’s fastest-growing R&D-driven electric motorcycle manufacturer, has rolled out its 10,000th electric motorcycle from its Bengaluru manufacturing facility, marking a significant milestone in the company’s journey. The milestone reflects the company’s evolution as one of the early pioneers in India’s electric motorcycle segment and its growing ability to design, develop, manufacture and deliver Made-in-India electric motorcycles for Indian riders.
The Rorr Evo has emerged as a significant demand driver for the company, crossing 25,000 bookings. With Rorr Evo already in production and deliveries underway pan India, Oben Electric is accelerating production to meet strong customer demand.

The production scale-up is backed by Oben Electric’s 3.5-acre vertically integrated manufacturing facility in Bengaluru, with an annual production capacity of 1 lakh electric motorcycles. The company designs, develops and manufactures critical EV components including LFP batteries, motors, VCUs, chargers and proprietary software in-house, giving it greater control over technology, quality and supply chains.
Oben Electric has also built a growing nationwide retail and service ecosystem, with 150+ showrooms and dedicated Oben Care service centres across 90+ cities in 18 States. The company plans to add 200 additional exclusive showrooms by the end of FY27, further expanding access to its motorcycles and after-sales support across India.
The milestone comes at an important juncture for India’s electric mobility transition. Motorcycles account for nearly 65% of the country’s annual two-wheeler sales, making the segment one of the largest opportunities for accelerating EV adoption. As electric mobility expands beyond early-adopter segments, the electrification of motorcycles will be critical to bringing EVs to a much larger base of Indian riders.
