Higer itself provides very little information about the buses’ drive systems in the press release. A combination of a powerful motor and a “high-quality” battery is installed. The range is given as more than 250 kilometres.

The vehicles themselves appear to be in the ten-metre class and the body has two doors. Passengers have access to the 2.30 metre high interior via the low entrance, in which 24 seats and two folding seats in the wheelchair area are available. The vehicles are also equipped with a telematics system called “T-BOX”, which can monitor vehicle data and driver behaviour to “ensure operational safety and secure the journey of passengers” in real time.

Higer Bus had previously supplied Pakistan with hybrid and diesel buses – the first vehicles were exported to Pakistan in 2006. Now, for the first time, all-electric buses have been imported to Pakistan in large quantities.
