VerdeMobility Signs an MoU with Government of Tamil Nadu at the Tamil Nadu Global Investors Meet (GIM) 2024

During the Tamil Nadu Global Investors Meet (GIM) 2024, an MoU was signed by V. Vishnu, IAS, the MD
and CEO of Guidance Tamil Nadu, and Tejas Vaghela, the Director of VerdeMobility Pvt Ltd. The purpose
of this agreement is to promote sustainable transportation in the state of Tamil Nadu. The event was led
by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Thiru M. K. Stalin, and Dr T. R. B. Rajaa, Hon’ble Minister for
Industries, Investment Promotion & Commerce.

8 th January 2024, Chennai: VerdeMobility, India’s end-to-end electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions
provider, has signed an MoU with Guidance, a nodal agency of the Government of Tamil Nadu, during
the Tamil Nadu Global Investors Meet- 2024. The agreement expresses a commitment by both parties to
promote sustainable transportation in the state. V. Vishnu, IAS, MD and CEO of Guidance Tamil Nadu,
and Tejas Vaghela, Director of VerdeMobility Pvt Ltd, signed the MoU.

Under the MoU, VerdeMobility will invest Rs. 50 crores, while Guidance will offer necessary support and
facilitation to promote sustainable transportation in Tamil Nadu. This support includes facilitating
sustainable transportation, improving infrastructure, reducing carbon emissions, and offering industry-
relevant training, partnerships, and employment.

The project will have six phases, beginning with a feasibility study and followed by infrastructure
preparation, upgrades, procurement and installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance, public
awareness and education, workforce training, and research and development. The company is eager to
partner with Charge Point Operators (CPOs) and other facilitators in the state for the execution of the
MoU.

“We have already started our conversation with multiple EV manufacturing players and fleet owners in
the state to ensure our solutions are compatible and feasible. We are excited to invest more and look
forward to setting up a manufacturing facility here,” says Tejas Vaghela, Director of VerdeMobility.
VerdeMobility is a part of the System Level Solutions (SLS) group and has been manufacturing
sustainable technology for over 22 years. They offer a wide range of hardware and software products
including DC chargers (30 kW to 240 kW), AC chargers (3.7 kW to 44 kW), EV controllers, EV stimulators,
CMS, and a mobile app. They recently received ARAI certification for their 60 kW, 120 kW, and 240 kW
DC chargers. In the future, they plan to focus on manufacturing Light Electric Vehicle chargers in
different categories and heavy-duty vehicle chargers and partner with major players.

Tamil Nadu Global Investors Meet (GIM) 2024, led by Hon’ble Chief Minister Thiru M. K. Stalin and Dr. T.
R. B. Rajaa, Hon’ble Minister for Industries, Investment Promotion & Commerce, commenced on 8th
January 2024, at the Chennai Trade center. On behalf of the Tamil Nadu government, an MoU was signed by V. Vishnu, IAS, MD and CEO Guidance Tamil Nadu, and Tejas Vaghela, Director VerdeMobility
Pvt Ltd, expressing commitment by both parties to promote sustainable transportation in the state.
