Tork Motors, India’s first electric motorcycle manufacturer, has announced a special price of INR 1,49,999, ex-showroom across the country, for its flagship model Kratos R electric motorcycle from March 1 to 31, 2024.
The premium electric motorcycle comes equipped with a 4.0 kWh, IP 67 rated Li-ion battery pack, powering a patented 9kW ‘Axial Flux’motor which generates a peak torque of 38Nm at 96% efficiency.
Riders have the flexibility of four ride modes – Eco+, Eco, City & Sport, allowing them to tailor the motorcycle’s performance to their preference, and the motorcycle also features a unique Reverse mode for enhanced rider convenience, the company said in a media release.
With an IDC range of 180 km, the Kratos R is also capable of a top speed of 105 km/h. The Kratos R features a Fast Charging Portthat supports fast charging from 20-80% in one hour.
To enhance its reach across the country, Tork Motors has been ramping up its network and currently operates about 40 Experience Zones in cities like Jaipur, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Bengaluru, Trivandrum, Kochi, Pondicherry, Pune, Thane, Kolhapur, Nagpur, Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara, Kolkata, Patna, Ranchi, Indore, Bhopal, Jabalpur, and Raipur. The company plans to expand this number to 100.
Tork is also working on setting up T-NET, its proprietary fast charging network and has tied up with charging infrastructure provider Bolt.Earth to make their network of 30,000 charging points across India accessible to its customers, the release added.
