JBM Auto Launches New E-buses, E-ambulance at Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025

JBM Auto, part of the JBM Group, introduced four new electric vehicles on Saturday at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. The new models include the luxury ‘Galaxy’, Intercity Bus ‘Xpress’, Electric Medical Mobile Unit or e-Ambulance ‘e-MediLife’, and the Electric Tarmac Coach ‘e-SkyLife’.

The company said that these buses are equipped with modular battery packs designed for different routes and energy efficiency. They also feature ultra-fast charging technology using lithium-ion batteries with a thermal management system to improve operational performance.

The ‘Galaxy’ e-bus will come in three variants- seater, hybrid, and sleeper.

The company, which has been in the public mobility space for ten years, has sold over 1,800 electric buses across various regions and currently has an order book exceeding 10,000 electric buses either deployed or under execution, the JBM Auto claimed in a press release.

JBM has established an integrated electric bus manufacturing facility in the Delhi-NCR region with an annual production capacity of 20,000 electric buses, which it claims is the largest outside China.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, the largest mobility expo in India, on Friday.

The five-day expo is being held across three venues: Bharat Mandapam and Yashobhoomi in the national capital and India Expo Center and Mart, Greater Noida.

The theme for this year’s expo is – “Beyond Boundaries: Co-creating Future Automotive Value Chain”.
