Ather Energy To Launch 3 New E-Scooters In India Tomorrow, Here’s What You Can Expect

Ather Energy, an Indian 2W electric automaker, plans to drop three new e-products in our market tomorrow.  The two-wheeler manufacturer used its social media accounts to inform the public about the new arrivals, which are supposed to offer “more power, torque, and range”. While specifics of these forthcoming EVs are still a mystery, it is anticipated that one of the e-commodities would be the eagerly anticipated 450S. Industry reports state that the new 450S will be offered as the company’s most affordable offering. Reports further claim that the other two EVs could be the enhanced versions of the 450X model.

In India, the market of electric scooters is gaining momentum due to a host of reasons, including the vehicles’ effectiveness, usefulness, and affordability. Whether Ather Energy will solidify its position in the segment with the launch of these three new EVs is something that remains to be seen. For now, let’s dive into the potential attributes of the 450S scooter that is expected to be introduced to the nation tomorrow.

Ather Energy 450S: Design

The upcoming 450S will probably look similar to the 450X in design. Slim turn indicators, inverted C-shaped LEDs, black alloy wheels, sporty-looking LED headlamps, and others will presumably be included. In addition to this, the instrument cluster of the new EV is likely to have a non-touch LCD panel as opposed to the 450X’s complete touchscreen display. Overall, the forthcoming 450S will maintain the sporty and angular look that Ather e-scooters are well known for.

Ather Energy 450S: Battery

The all-new 4505 is expected to have a smaller 2.9 kWh battery than the Ather 450x’s 3.7 kWh battery pack, giving it a driving range of 115 kilometre. It is further expected to have a high speed of 90 km/h.
