Omega Seiki Mobility Begins Development of EV for Persons with Disabilities

Omega Seiki Mobility (OSM) has initiated the design and development of a specially engineered electric vehicle for persons with disabilities aimed at addressing their specific mobility requirements.

The proposed electric vehicle will be developed with a focus on accessibility, safety, comfort, convenience and ease of use. OSM plans to engage with users, experts and other stakeholders during the development process to incorporate practical requirements into the vehicle’s design.

The initiative is a part of OSM’s efforts to develop what it described as an inclusive and accessible electric mobility solution.

Dr. Uday Narang, Founder & Chairman, Omega Seiki Mobility, said, “The company aims to use engineering and technology to develop a practical mobility solution centred on the everyday needs of persons with disabilities.

The project will leverage its experience in EV engineering and manufacturing to explore a Made-in-India mobility solution for accessible transportation.
