Tata Power, one of India’s big power companies, is leading the charge for clean and efficient travel in Karnataka.
They’ve set up more than 220 charging spots for electric vehicles (EVs) across the state.
This network, called EZ Charge, is making it easier for people to charge their EVs hassle-free with RFID card transactions.
These charging points are conveniently placed along major highways connecting Bengaluru, Mangaluru, Davangere, and Mysuru. They’ve even set up spots in tourist hotspots like Chikmagalur and Coorg. You can find these chargers in big cities like Mangaluru, Mysuru, Hubli, and more, as well as at places like Taj, Park, Oberoi, Gokulam Hotels, Tata Croma, and Tanishq.
In Bengaluru alone, Tata Power has more than 150 charging spots spread across areas like Devanahalli and Electronic City. This means people in the city can charge up their EVs without going too far.
Furthermore, Tata Power has collaborated with builders and societies like Brigade Gardenia and Divyashree Elan Homes to put charging spots in residential areas too. The company is also working with big names like Decathlon and Titan to make sure EV charging is available in more places.
By placing charging points strategically, Tata Power is not only helping more people switch to EVs but also supporting Karnataka’s vision for a greener future.
Tata Power is leading the charge in the EV world, working closely with governments across India. With a vast network covering 530 cities, 86,000 home chargers, and 5,300 public charging points, they’re making e-mobility accessible to everyone. From highways to hotels, Tata Power is making sure EV charging is never out of reach.
