MG Motor India has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Zeon Electric Private Limited to augment the existing EV charging infrastructure. This collaboration marks MG’s sixth partnership with a charging point operator (CPO) and signifies a significant stride in establishing a more accessible and efficient electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem in India.
MG Motor India has taken a substantial step towards fortifying the EV infrastructure in the country by entering into a strategic partnership with Zeon Electric Private Limited. The initiative aims to address the pressing need for a robust charging infrastructure to support the burgeoning fleet of electric vehicles across the nation.
This collaborative effort will focus on reinforcing the EV ecosystem at pivotal locations, encompassing highways, cities, and MG dealerships in key states such as Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, and more.
MG customers will benefit from exclusive offers when charging at Zeon kiosks. The partner charging stations will seamlessly integrate with the MyMG App, making them easily discoverable and visible on the iSmart infotainment screens. The addition of Zeon’s 300+ AC and DC chargers at key locations will complement MG’s current network of 12,000 chargers.
