Kinetic engineering has further bolstered it’s electric vehicle strategy with a Rs-30-crore investment into it subsidiary Kinetic Watts and Volts, following an earlier infusion of rupees 18.5 crores, taking the total capital investment to rupees 48.5. The investments are expected to propel the company’s efforts to expand its electric vehicle component manufacturing capabilities. Kinetic Watts & Volts, established in 2022, focuses on producing motors, axle frames, controllers and batteries to support India’s growing demand for electric mobility.
The fresh investments will enable the company to deliver more efficient and reliable EV technologies, boosting the development of India’s electric mobility infrastructure. Founded in 1970, Kinetic engineering has been a prominent force in India’s automotive industry first gaining recognition for its iconic mopeds and scooters.
Over the years the Pune-based firm has diversified, producing a wide array of automotive components including engine and transmission systems. With the renewed focus on electric vehicle technology, Kinetic engineering is now aiming to lead India’s transition towards sustainable transportation.
