Karnataka brings in great initiatives to promote the use of electric vehicles in Karnataka and to make the environment pollution free, the Karnataka Government is offering many incentives and subsidies for electric vehicle owners like road tax exemption, registration fees exemption for newly purchased electric vehicles, subsidy given after purchase,etc. It also includes the capital subsidy for charging station set up. Also, to advance with the technology and quality of electric vehicles, the Karnataka Government is funding a lot of money to the Research and Development (R&D) Department.
