The patent has been filed for the new electric scooter, but so far there is no update regarding the launching of these electric scooters in the Indian markets. The company has already patented some names for the Indian market but no information has been revealed about their launch. Prior to filing patents for Dax e and Honda Zoomer e, the company had filed patents for petrol-powered vehicles named -Honda CBR250RR, and Honda CL300. The petrol-powered variants of the Honda Dax e and the Honda Zoomer e are already available. The recently filed patents are for the modern and electric versions of identical vehicles from Honda. Range and Speed The Honda Dax e and the Honda Zoomer e are small-size electric scooters. Both the electric scooters are equipped with a Bosch hub motor. And, the motor is efficient in providing a range of 80 km, well suited for Indian roads. As both of the newly registered electric scooters are low-speed electric scooters, they provide a top speed of 25 km/hour.
 

Although electric scooters like the Ather 450, Ola S1, and the TVS iQube electric are very much efficient and are in the high-speed electric scooters range, these new electric scooters by Honda are decent B2B product offerings from the company. Conclusion It is not yet announced whether Honda will launch these two electric scooters or not, or by when they will be launched. As per reports, it is expected that the automobile manufacturer will launch the Honda Activa electric in the Indian market by the year 2024. If these two new electric scooters, the Dax e and the Zoomer e would be launched in India, then they can compete with the Suzuki e-Burgman.
